European Parliament

Full Federalisation of the European Union

Delegates will step into the role of Members of the European Parliament, debating the future of European integration and the balance between national sovereignty and federal unity. This committee challenges delegates to confront some of the most divisive questions facing Europe today. How far should federalisation go? Should the EU issue war bonds to fund Ukraine’s defense? Must all member states contribute equally to collective security, even against their will?

Beyond security, delegates will also grapple with broader questions of Europe's future: the challenges of enlargement and the possible accession of new members, the creation of stronger fiscal and economic institutions, the tension between cultural identity and political unity, and the role of the EU as a global power. By addressing both immediate crises and long-term structural reforms, the committee will test participants’ ability to balance vision with pragmatism, compromise with conviction, and sovereignty with solidarity.
